CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) models the interactions of air at different temperatures and speeds and allows us to see the movement of air through computer simulations. This air movement is invisible in its natural state.
By calculating the flow, we are able to demonstrate how an air curtain performs to help inhibit the encroachment of conditioned air, whether hot or cold, through an opening.
